mi_jaiten Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Hi Vger, I'm as you know new to os commerce, web design and forum pages. I do not want to appear rude but I got your reply to my post but as with my last post even though I posted a reply to your tips you have not as yet answered me. So I am just wondering if I am pressing the right button when I reply to the reply you attached to my original post so that you know I have read and responded. Hope you understand! Anyway this is a link to my post: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=155221 Hope you can help. Michelle
♥Vger Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 Just to check something out. Look in your includes/local/ folder and see if there is an alternative configure.php file in there. Sometimes there is and if it exists then it overrides any other configure.php file. If you find one in that folder just rename it, and then the includes/configure.php file will be used. Vger

Guest Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 please post in the original thread and do not create another thread in continuation of the same question. i suggest you understand the file locations, as you were told it id in the includes/configure.php. he stated to juse see if there is a configure.php file in there, and if there is rename it or delete it, etc.

To you personally I apologize for my lack of experience. Please give a girl a break, don't be so harsh! Anyway the files I mentioned are all that I have in - public_html//includes/local - I think I understood the question I was just showing the files I do have in this folder and that configure.php is not among them. If you know the answer to my original post that would be constructive. Michelle

Vger I checked - public_html//includes/local - and I don't have a file configure.php but I do have one in - public_html//includes - do you mean this one to rename also how do I rename/delete a file Thanks Michelle
