cj morin Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Hello i am just setting up my site. i sell car audio/video and accessories. now for my problem, lets say i have five companys that i am selling their products. i want to copy sub catogories instead of manually inputing them. here is a heiarchy of what i am trying to get. Audio _____amps __________company 1 __________company 2 __________company 3 __________company 4 __________company 5 _____subs __________company 1 __________company 2 __________company 3 __________company 4 __________company 5 _____components __________company 1 __________company 2 __________company 3 __________company 4 __________company 5 Video i would copy the catagory amps two more time and rename them, then i will copy the sub catagories for video. but my problem is that i do not want to make each subcatagory. is there anyway i can copy an entire tier and rename it. then i will ad products for each company on the appropaite catagory. i hope i have made myself clear. i have very little knowledge on php i can copy and paste but i do not know how to mulipulate the actual code to get this affect. i know there is a thing for copying produts i already installed that maybe thinking it would help. thats more or less what i want but with catagories and subcatagories. thanks in advance cj morin
