Does it matter if I add the paypal IPN contribution and the Gift Voucher/Discount Coupon contribution before I add my products and categories? The reason I ask is that I read that I should install both of these contributions on a fresh OsCommerce install. Any 'tips & tricks' in relation to these contributions would be greatly appreciated. ♥Vger Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Adding Products and Categories only affects the database and not the default set of files, so that does not matter. Before you edit any files you should install the CCGV contribution. If you add the officially supported PayPal IPN v1.0 (supported by osCommerce Team Members) then this does not affect anything, because it is a stand-alone set of files which you can install at any time.
