I am looking to start an online eCommerce business, I have around 3 years experience in graphic design (not exactly coding) so I have no real problem with the designing the website. The problem I have with osCommerce is, can I design my site anyway I want and then fit osCommerce into it? I site i like that uses osCommerce and seems to have designed it and then fit osCommerce into it is purefiveaudio.com with their website it looks as if they just put the specific URL links to the graphics to incorporate osCommerce into it. Sorry if i don't make sense, i will read the documentations, would just appreciate a little help. Thanks.

You can design the site and then install the graphics into oscommece without too much trouble and you won't be able to tell the difference. If you install the Simple Template System contribution, it is easier to build the look of the site but it has some other problems that prevents me from recommending it.
