errors at the top of the page....please.....help!

I am knew to oscommerce and feel extrememly stupid. I get two errors at the top of my oscommerce page.

one says:

Warning: Wrong parameter count for define() in /hsphere/local/home/mishin/mishinclothing.com/catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 13

 

the other says:

Warning: Installation directory exists at: /hsphere/local/home/mishin/mishinclothing.com/catalog/install. Please remove this directory for security reasons.

 

 

Any idea how to fix either of these? Id really appreciate your help

delete the installation directory and that will get rid of the installation error

Yours your FTP software and usually right click and select properties, Set to read & write enable... then delete Install directory!

 

If you are stuck you could just change the name of INSTALL to something obscure like STILANL (an annergram of INSTALL!), that will remove the error...but if someone runs it they could wipe out your site!!!!
