How to replace boxes with custom graphics?

I am trying to build my own boxes for the store. Didn't find any end user sollution and had to go into classes and edit the code in boxes.php.

 

Boxes will consist if 3 pieces. I have gifs for the top, left-right and bottom.

I think I can remove most conditions and functions from the boxes.php

All I need is

1. To be able to put different tops for different boxes depending on the purpose of the box

2. Insert appropriate content, depending on the purpose of the box

 

 

I have a basic knowledge of PHP and getting lost here.

 

Would be great if somebody could give a general giudelines and explain purpose of some variables and functions.

There is a contribution that allows you to change the look of each individual box.

I would give that a try.
