Guest
>_< i love osCommerce, but there is a feature that would make it even greater: - the store visitor should be able to simply switch between the thumbnail catalog view and text only. for instance, with a large catalog of dvd's or books, it's more pleasant for the site visitor to see a text only list in alphabetical order. i know the rules forbid me to mention a commercial cart script site, but i do know one with a perfect example of the feature i am talking about. :o :-" if the rules permit it, please ask the url by email ([email protected]), p.s. I?m not a reseller of that script, it's just the text only feature I?m interested in. Also it would be great if the frond end user (visitor) is able to view the entire catalog in stead of just a catagory. Thanks  for your attention, Dex

nana
you should be able to do this with a bit of coding. add a link anywhere that you want to give the customer this option add a variable to the url from this link and call it show_images for example add this variable to the sessions in application_top.php in the catalogue/modules/product_listing.php make the condition to show image based on this variable
