julia
I am wondering how most people charge taxes to people who live in the same state as your store is located (we are actually in three states). Legally on the internet, do you have to charge the sales tax that those people would pay at thier shipping address? This varies from city to city...so therefore, do you have to go in and input the taxes for each city????? OR..can you charge the sales tax for the city in which your actual office is located. That would be more simple. OR..if you have sales reps all over the state, can you charge everyone the maximum tax for that state? I know Amazon charges tax rate for the city they ship to, but they are a little more sophisticated than moi! Thanks Julie
bglkk
Depends on the law of the state(s) where you have a 'nexus'. "Buy the ticket, take the ride..." -HST
