I think this may be an installation problem on my part, but I'm not sure and am pretty much lost now... The website is: www.elektrorc.com I am not getting any hits for my /spiders.txt file, so I don't think I'm getting scanned. The site has been up for months now. ♥Vger Posted June 9, 2005 Share Posted June 9, 2005 Your domain was only purchased three and ahalf months ago, and I'm guessing that your site was not immediately up and running on that day. You do need to pursue a strategy of actively submitting your site to any search engine that will allow free submissions, Google and the Open Directory Project (dmoz.org) being the most important of them. From the time of submission it will take 1-2 months before they first visit your site, and on their first visit will only scan the homepage - later they'll come back to index all of your pages.
