hndcrxguy
Ok I don't know if there is a fix for my issue or a better way of tracking. I hope I can explain the problem clearly. Here goes: You add products to your cart. You give the products an in-stock quantity for your inventory. So the inventory is directly related to a single product as a whole. Now you can add attributes to a product. Size, Color, whatever. But the inventory doesn't care about the attributes. So If I have 5 inventory of a product, and of that 5...two are small, three are meduim, and zero are large. But the site won't know that I am out of stock of large. Nor will I unless I manually inventory it. This kinda defeats the purpose and automated tracking. The only way I see a work around (which is not practical and will cludder up the site) is instead of useing attributes, you would have to add the same item 3 times as 3 different products. Like small shirt, med shirt, large shirt and then give it inventory. But like I said that's not practical. Any suggestion? Any contributions/fixes?
