Just installed os commerce and i get the following error trying to access

catalog/admin/index.php

Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in /opt/lampp/htdocs/oscommerce-2.2ms2/catalog/admin/includes/classes/upload.php on line 31

I was really unsure of this, I chmoded everything as 777, i didnt touch the sql database, but I am not sure if thats the problem thougth, my programming skills are pretty basic, and I am not really sure where $this is declared... maybe I am just blind.

I tried searching this in the forums first, but came up with a rediculous amount of results, and I tried a more specific search and for some reason it doesnt function. I am not sure, sorry if this is a double post. But it is urgen as I need my site up and running asap.

When using the search function (which isn't great admittedly) you can make the results you get more relevant to your search if you input the whole search as a phrase e.g.

"Cannot re-assign $this"

Don't make the phrase too long or the search will return an error or zero results.
