FlyingMonkey Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 Has anyone implemented a solution to California's LCD tax law? How a tax is required to be collected on LCD's of size 4" or greater? It's tiered too.... so the bigger the more money. Everyone was suppose to collect starting 1/1/05 if sold from cali to cali. -Calvin Most likely your question has been answered, please do a search first.
Guest Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 easy way, is to add a fixed attribute to the product, where they can not delete it.

I was planning to look at the tax class and try to have a 2nd tax class that could be enabled for lcd screens....The tax is not a % tax, so the store owner knows exactly what the tax charge would for each product so it should not be hard to implement.
