Customize Paypal Payment Page...

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if there is a way I can add text or an image that says something like "You do not need to create an account to pay with paypal" because I believe I am losing a lot of customers because they think they need to have a paypal account to purchase with paypal.

If I cant edit the actual Paypal payment page then I guess I could do it on another page such as checkout_payment.php.

Thanks.

Other than a small 'logo' images, and background colors, you cannot change the paypal payment page, so you can't do it there. You can alter your payment module language file, so that the name of the module would be something like 'PayPal - you do not have to create a paypal account to use this method' But this really isn't very clean. Or you can alter your payment methods page to insert that statement there.

No matter where you put it though, probably won't help much. The main reasons you are losing customers is becuase...

1) Alot of people do not like being re-directed to a 3rd party site to make payment.

2) Alot of people dislike paypal in general

3) Seeing that you *only* accept paypal, alot of people realize that you are a very small time business, and might not trust you with their personal details

4) Do not like the very lengthy process that using paypal makes the checkout (an additional 3 clicks making it a total of 10 steps!)
