EnPassant
Hey Coopco, Yes, thanks for lending your help. I did discover a section on installing add-ons. The one I did install, was problematic. The included sql queries for phpadmin didn't work, and I had to add tables to the database "by hand." Then, the functionality only partially works (I know what you're thinkin!). BUT, it does what I needed it to do--however inelegantly--which was to put attribute options in the order-rank I wanted in the drop down selections. I was surprised (shocked?) by what OScommerce lacked in terms of product management. It seems pretty unwieldly in terms of managing products without these add-ons and/or hacks. I'm using this on a Joomla site, and for whatever reason, their "extensions" are incredibly easy to install. Overall, mehappyboy; OScommerce does what it does. The add ons include install instuctions. Have Purple Crayon Will Travel
