I'm sure there is some kind of contribution but I couldnt seem to find it, sorry in advance if it is on there.

Im selling some items, for example performance parts that are the same item but are made for different cars. How would I make or what contribution would allow me to do this. Or a website that could show me how to do this.

Thanks A TON!!!!!

You could set up the item as a product, and then add the different cars as attributes, or vice versa depending on how you want to list your products.

So if someone wanted a muffler, they would click on muffler then select which car they wanted it for, by using the attribute drop down.

Or select a car, and select the part they want from the drop down.

Hey is there a way of doing it so you can make that the price and not have teh price appear as $0.00 at the top. Because I'd like to just have the price selection at the bottem.

there are many ways to do this. much depends how your business process will work. I personally create a seperate product for each vehicle. So if air filter with part # xxx fits 3 different vehicles, I would have 3 "products" created, one for each vehicle. the price should always be the same for the same part #.

not sure how big your store will be, but you might want to also thing about providing dropdowns to search by vehicle and only display those pertinent products.

you might also want to look at master products or family of products to see if that helps you as well.

I like the way of just having a drop down menu of teh products but how do i get rid of the $0.00 for when you dont enter a primary price.
