JEWbacca Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 How is it that some osCom. stores have a thumb of one image and then when you click on that thumb another image comes up??? I looked through the image contributions but came up empty handed.... Here is an example of a site doing such: ipodlife.co.uk For example this product: http://www.ipodlife.co.uk/ipodlife/product...&products_id=46 see how the thumb is different than the full size image? Anyone??? Thanks in advance. Nate
Wendy James Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 more than likely they either edited the code manually or used one of the contributions like small medium large images where it allows you to enter different images for each size.. which could be all the same size if you wanted. There are also conrtibutions that allow you to have additional images, for adding more thumbnails, you can feature more than one angle of a product that way. Thanks for your reply.... that was the answer that I was afraid to hear, but I guess that just means I should get started now.
Wendy James Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 It's really not all that bad. The contribution for multible size images has good instructions, and if you use a program like photoshop you can create an action and then run a batch process to speed up the editing of the images.
