In admin what to set to help search engine spiders

OK ive added keywords and metatags etc to each product so it apears on the metetags of that products page but what else can i do to be search engine friendly, like ive noticed things like sessions true or false in the admin and ive heard i need to set these a certain way to accept search engine spiders etc, please help thanks.

 

 

Im talking about in the admin setting things like sessions ect ive herad these need to be a certain way to allow spiders to crawl my site and folllow links to each section and each product etc.

In Configuration --> Sessions you need to set 'Prevent Spider Sessions' to 'true'.

 

This does not prevent spiders from trawling your site, it just prevents them from generating session ids as they do so. I would also advise installing the enlarged spiders.txt file available from Contributions - to catch more spiders.
