mr_bozack
Can anyone recommend a good 2nd party e-commerce statistics software add-on for my new osCommerce site. I need something that is going to be able to generate statistics relating to products sold from date to date as well as revenue generated, registered user stats, most purchased products, etc. If the stats can be displayed in visual format (i.e., pie charts, graphs, etc.), then that would be good, but I guess it's not essential. Just something that's going to work with osCommerce and a product that is made specifically for turning out statistics relating to products sold, revenue generated, etc. Does anyone have any software solutions to recommend? Thanks!
Wendy James
You can find all of that stuff in the contributions area. Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.

wizardsandwars
Actually, reporting isn't nearly as robust as you might think. There are a few contributions that give a pretty good idea of your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales, including breakdowns for sales tax and shipping costs. And osc comes standard with some very basic reporting on how well a product has sold over all time. And there are a couple of contributions that I haven't fully explored yet, that have made some imporvements to the aforementioned. But that just barely scratches the surface of what business owners really need. Forecasting, trend analysis, and other analitical reporting can really make the difference between a small business that makes it, and one that doesn't. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.
