Adding new user input box to checkout_payment

Hi

 

I want to add a option that the customer can have the option to pay in instalments.

 

What I would like is in the checkout_payment.php to add a option where the customer can select from a drop down list to pay by installemnts and give the options of 2,3,or 4 installements

 

It sounds like a something that would have been done allready i just couldn't find where :blush:

Finally found the contribution and worked out how to implement it really cool,

BUT (there is always a but :( )

What they need is a added option to the Credit card options. The new option will alow the customer to select if he wants to pay the amount in one amount (default) ot spread the payment over a 2, 3 or 4 payments.

 

How can I add this additional option to the existing credit card options?

I'm looking for the same thing. Just a simple drop down menu on the credit card option and that the information is passed along with the rest of the credit card info.

 

Can someone shed a light, please? Tks in advance for any help.
