Hi all

 

I only use 10 top category (all of the same type), but I need to have two categories which is nothing to do the others and would have about 30 products each.

 

Can I create two more category and NOT show them in the main drop down category menu, but the products are there and would come up in any search?

 

or better still, create two category drop down menu.

one with the 10 categories and the other with two categories?

if you install the enable/disable categorie contribution, you can have your additional categories under a disabled top category.

 

Next you then need to tweak the categories box to fetch the subcategories of the disabled top category.
