Tom~ Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Hi, two questions in hope to get answers: 1. Is it possible, to mark articles just in the catalog if they are out of stock? 2. Is it possible to block an order, if someone want to order such a missing article? Greeting, Tom
Tom~ Posted June 9, 2005 Author Posted June 9, 2005 Did nobody have a suggestion? The Idea of my Questions is, to offer single articles and to spare the customer for needless clicks, cause they can see just in the cataloge that the article is already sold. That should be possible, what do you mean?

The Idea of my Questions is, to offer single articles and to spare the customer for needless clicks, cause they can see just in the cataloge that the article is already sold. That should be possible, what do you mean? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have 99% single item products and I have used this contribution with some own changes to keep a product visible but marked sold with no possibility to add to the shopping cart. That works fine to keep the customer informed in an early stage. Depending on your stock settings in your admin you have to keep a sold product visible manually. This is because when an item is sold through the shop the stock is set to zero and the product therefore automatically set invisible. By just making it visible again but keeping the stock at zero the sold image is shown in the catalogue and buying is impossible.
Tom~ Posted June 9, 2005 Author Posted June 9, 2005 This is exactly what I'm searching for. Heartily thanx for your answer!
