bobcatkp Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 The "New Products For ____month" box shows every new product I add. The problem is that this store sells items in quantities of 100+, and the price changes depending on the quantity purchased. So in order to handle this, I'm creating a seperate product for each quantity (i.e., 100 brandx pens, 200 brandx pens, etc.) but I don't want the new products box to show the same product 5 times because i had to create 5 products for the same item to handle the quantity price breaks. Any suggestions would be very helpful!! Thanks, big_newb :'(
Wendy James Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 If you are not using a contribution for the price breaks why not set up the quantities as an attribute and set the cost as a negative? like qty 100 would be the main product qty 200 is attribute and then set the cost as -20.00 or whatever the price difference is. You can set the cost up when adding the attributes. Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
