Header Tags controller - HELP

Recommended Posts

I am a newbie to all of this so please bear with me. I have installed OSCommerce and have Header Tags Controller working at least partially. The site works fine. The title changes as well as the meta tags. The problem I have is that as I understand it, there should be a link in Admin to Header Tags which is not there. If I add a new item I have spots for adding to the page just the link (under tools on the left) is not there.

Did I misunderstand this??? I can do it in the file but just didn't think I was supposed to have to.

Also, I have put fill_tags files in the admin side but I still cannot reach them by browser.

Do I just need to redo this and start over (SIGH) or are there some things to check first. I have scoured the net and this forum, trying anything that looked reasonable but so far nothing works.

I am also using a template as I have seen that causes issues sometimes.

Thank you

The link in admin is added into your column_left.php file. The instructions for that are in Install_Admin.txt. Perhaps you missed that part of the instructions? What happens when you try to access fill_tags?
