Wendy James
What's new will be your new products. There is a contribution for "featured products" that allows you to pick and choose what goes into the box. There is also a "random product" contribution that picks a product from the inventory randomly with every page click/refresh. Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Guest
My question is 1. what defines a product as still being new and appearing in "what new" 2. and can that definition be changed?
Wendy James
Actually, I think oscommerce lists all products as being new, just listing the newest items at the top. There is a contribution that allows you to limit what is shown according to how far back you want to show.. a week, a month. Also, I think in the admin area there is a max value field you can set that will limit how many new products are shown. Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Wendy James
At the top of this page there is a link that says contributions. You can find all sorts of "add ons" for oscommerce. =) Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
