www.sewingcenter.us Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Ok...here it goes, Hate to admit it but I'm new to php and os commerce, I use file manager which is built into os commerce and select edit the file index.php file under english. When I save it always fails.. My quess is that the deal built in editor is adding or changing characters to the file. I need help with getting a wysiwyg editor for php. I had a sunbox with a ok text editor for shell scripts but it failed and don't know of a good windows editor. Does os commerce have a chat area for live help and suggestions with the program.
Guest Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 do not use the editor with osc, will give grief. download via ftp the source, edit with a freely available php editor, then upload via ftp. keep backups. search the internet for php editors.
