Why is it better to have a dedicated/Private SSL for OSCommerce and not a shared one? Does a shared SSL work with OSCommerce? Whats the difference between a Shared SSL connection and a dedicated one? FalseDawn Posted June 7, 2005 Share Posted June 7, 2005 A shared SSL will work, but a dedicated SSL will increase the "professionalism" of the store, is easier to set up and configure, and you often get a "trust seal" logo to use that lets customers verify your SSL status in real time.
