beige Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Hi, New here, need help on set the permissions for configure.php files during the Pre-Installation Procedure. I copied the catalog directory under C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ (I don't know if this is right?). Now need instruction on change the permissions (chmod) on the admin/includes/configure.php and catalog/includes/configure.php files to 777. I watched the demo on installation, it use a program called cuteFTP 5.0, do I need that? Thanks ahead!

beige Posted June 7, 2005 Author Posted June 7, 2005 but, I had problem on start web based configuration procedure, when browser http://localhost/osCommerce/ got "The page cannot be found". (Use IIS 5).
