JohnWaters
Hi, I apologise in advance if this question is obviously stupid. My problem is I cannot get past the install.php?step = 2 screen, when I press continue it returns back to the same screen. I have succesfully installed PHP, PHPADMIN, MYSQL running on IIS6.0, 2003 server. If there is an obvious answer, I will be eternally grateful. Otherwise, if anyone can assist me in create some error logs, or some method of debugging, I would also be grateful. Tia John
Guest
have you created the catalog database & made a password or are you using "root" If you are running this installation procedure under a Microsoft Windows environment, try renaming the existing configuration file so a new file can be created. Guest
most likely you are using php5, if possible use php4.3.11, else you will have to do a manual install, ie import the database via phpmyadmin and set your configure.php files manually

Installed PHP 4.3.11, deleted PHP 5 Reinstalled My SQL edited the Php.ini file (confusing cause 4.3.11 does not have a php_mysql.dll) (the install.txt file in the PHP4 was very useful). All ok The functionality looks great in the back end, looking forward to being an active user
