vinesun Posted June 6, 2005 Share Posted June 6, 2005 I'm a complete newbie and I'm trying to install the PWA contribution. Whenever I do this, it seems to affect my Admin panel. The normal headings change from saying "Configuration" to BOX_HEADING_CONFIGURATION. If I try to click on anything, it leads to a 404. The second time that I installed it, I tried to find out what caused the error...I believe it was after the lines were added (the last step). If I try backtracking, however, I end up with this error: Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) in /homepages/6/d94247414/htdocs/site/shop/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server!. From this, I can't even backtrack to get the messed up panel at all. I'm probably jumping in too quickly, but I don't see why it shouldn't work.
