Becki
Hi Becki I knew what you meant. I just felt it may not be the right way of dealing with this issue. What I referred to in my post was that you should also use chemo's google sitemate contrib. Although it is named 'google', as it conforms to the xml site map protocol (see http://www.sitemaps.org/protocol.php), you could submit it to the SEs and they would index your site without the osCid. Or do you think this is not the case? Ken I was thinking about submitting a sitemap I just haven't got round to it. The urls with osCid in were indexed in jan/feb time, I have since turned the spider function in admin on, updated spiders.txt and robots.txt and installed Chemo's code to send the 301 header back so actually there are only 1 or 2 indexed urls left in google with the osCid in. So...it's probably not that important anymore. But I always think it's good to be safe incase it happens again for whatever reason! When I found this problem I just want to get it working! Enigmas helping me out in his support forum so hopefully will be able to figure it out :). Although it seems it has got something to do with possibly another contrib i might have...the hunt begins. Thanks Becki
