You could have done everything easily without one.
Aziz
Why did you use a template? You could have done everything easily without one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To tell you the truth, the template seemed nice and instead of working on a new template, I thought it would be nice to just work on an existing one and concentrate about the actual content.. Thanks 4 your answer, Peace, --------------------------------
kitchenniche
The page looks not bad, here a few things you might wanna change: - quick-find-box should be somewhere at the top (people tend to look for it there) - use a "login-box" contribution to place a login-box at the right or left column. The "Welcome Guest blablabla" in the middle just doesn't look good, no matter what site. - Write something about what you sell and who you are above the new products. Besides the title, i really like the design of your site, especially your icons, they bring a fresh look into the site. akosh
What did you do to make it so that the new products arent in random places every time you refresh?
Aziz
What did you do to make it so that the new products arent in random places every time you refresh? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> in my products_new.php it queries: $products_new_query_raw = "select p.products_id, pd.products_name, p.products_image, p.products_price, p.products_tax_class_id, p.products_date_added, m.manufacturers_name from " . TABLE_PRODUCTS . " p left join " . TABLE_MANUFACTURERS . " m on (p.manufacturers_id = m.manufacturers_id), " . TABLE_PRODUCTS_DESCRIPTION . " pd where p.products_status = '1' and p.products_id = pd.products_id and pd.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' order by p.products_date_added DESC, pd.products_name"; something which I did not change, so it looks like it picks them decs based on the date it was added... is it not how its suppose to be? brooklyn
I would hide the empty categories (there is a contribution somewhere), it saves clicking on something that's not there I also don't particularly like the "let's see what we have here" Instead of "New product for June", it would be nice to see the photos of the different categories of products you sell. At first glance, I thougth you sold only deodorants :-( And the category is mispelled: deodrant

I am not promoting the site yet, I will be planning that when I finish with the data entry. I also think its a better idea to change defualty made text, which I will do soon. About the New products of june, I might change it to random items instead. Also thanks for the spelling correction, Peace, --------------------------------
