Customers type

Hi all

 

I have the need to have a customer's type.

 

two or maybe three type of customers and I am not quit sure if someone has done this.

 

if there is not contributions, which would be the best and easy way to achive this?

Thanks for answering but none of them would do what I like to achieve.

I have looked through the contributions and I coundn't find what I was looking for so I started working on something that may be a contribution for others.

 

What I hope to achieve with this: Have a field added in customer table called customer_type

 

Then in create_account.php add a drop down menu with the option for the customer to choose what type of customer they are:

i.e: Business Customer, Direct Customer or any other dipending on the need of the shop owner. (of cause make all the necessary changes needed in other files, including in admin)
