Horrible inline Flash demo - looking for ideas

Recommended Posts

I've got a client who needs to integrate some pre-done Flash demos into the product descriptions. I've just stuck them in inline at the moment as I was in a hurry.....but they look so out of place.

Ideally I'd like a popup triggered by a link on the page. Can people have a look and give me some suggestions on the best way to go. If there is a a contrib for additional product info in a popup that would be great. I've found one in the contribs but the instructions are a bit flakey. I'm going to test it first

Open to inspiration :)

You know, it wouldnt be so bad if you made it smaller and centered it.....I would get rid of the interactivity and have it loop (I wouldnt push the button :) )

BTW....I could use one of those, lol

Yes I've reduced it to 75% - it still looks odd with the colours but it's more in keeping. ta for the feedback

They ship to the States if you'd like one :)

The size is better now, however, I'd put some background up with a broad border, to tie the demo text with the flash preview, and center the whole thing.

KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON

I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support).

So if you are still here ? What are you waiting for ?!

Find the most frequent unique errors to fix:

grep "PHP" php_error_log.txt | sed "s/^.* PHP/PHP/g" |grep "line" |sort | uniq -c | sort -r > counterrors.txt

Sorry my post can't help with your question, but I have to bring this up:

Why would you buy a little stake to hold your glass instead of just placing the glass on the ground? Maybe I've been lucky, but I've never really had a problem with putting glasses on grass

And the demo really doesn't look that bad where it is at the moment, although you might want to make a border around it so the "click to start demo" stands out a little more.

Carine, agree- and when I get a second, I will

Average Joe.......I agree with you. I have no sticks in the house to hold my glasses. Apparently these things sell well though :D
