morganhoff Posted June 4, 2005 Share Posted June 4, 2005 Hi There, I use a Cron job to update my products stock levels and pricing based on the CSV feed from my supplier. Given that I don?t use osCommerce?s pages to update this information the "notify me of updates to" feature doesn't work. Can anyone suggest a good place to start at solving this problem? My primary aim would be to notify customers when a product is in stock and maybe a secondary aim would be to let customers know when there are price drops. The way I was thinking of getting it to work was to have a Cron job that checks which product have come in stock that day and send notifications to all users watching those products.
