rieseuk
I have a big problem when I tried to change the defult set up wording on my site through index php I have this message this did not happen with another site I done where I did the same thing. I now have a message Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /data/members/paid/n/a/naughtygirllingerie.co.uk/htdocs/www/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 13. Last time I had this I had to start again from scratch this would be my 3rd time can anyone tell me how to 1 change wording defult setup Please break it down for me as I really am new to this and some jargon I find real hard thank you. 2 correct error without starting again if at all possible. I realise I am doing somthing very wrong as this is now the 3rd error of this nature I have had. www.naughtygirllingerie.co.uk  Thank you
♥Vger
DO NOT use the osCommerce File Manager to edit files. Download the file to be edited. Backup the file before you edit it. Escape all apostrophies in text with a preceeding backslash e.g. Let's = wrong Let\'s = right As you have already edited the english.php file using the File Manager you need to go through the whole file and search out all apostrophies in text that do not have a backslash in front of them and then add the backslash. Only edit files using a plain text editor like NotePad, or Text Pad, or Crimson Editor (the latter two being free downloads). Do not use Word or Wordpad - they are NOT plain text editors and apply text formatting. Vger
