TrueKnight
File Manager /virtual/users/e13098-12482/web/ Warning: dir(/virtual/users/e13098-12482/web/): failed to open dir: Permission denied in /virtual/users/e13098-12482/web/admin/file_manager.php on line 178 Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /virtual/users/e13098-12482/web/admin/file_manager.php on line 179 Okay I got this error when I try to access File Manager. I CHMOD file_manager.php and the admin directory to 777 so I don't know why it would have trouble opening the directory. The error also says there's something wrong in line 178 - 179 of file_manager.php. Any help on this is appreciated. Thank you!
Guest
dont chmod admin to 777, you are just asking for hackers to wipe you out. if you want to edit files you need to use ftp to download your files, edit them with a php editor then upload to your site via ftp. I changed it back to 644. Any clues on why my File Manager has this error? Do I really need File Manager or could I use FTP?
Wendy James
do not use the file manager that comes with osc. there are known bugs. Download the files you want to edit with an ftp program then reupload them. Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
