Rclenny
I am close to going live with my osC site, but recently found a new problem that I did not know I had. I started using Firefox a couplke months ago, and recently got back to working on and testing my site. When logged in, and having products in the cart, when choosing "checkout", it returns the user to the login page. It seems that anytime the user tries to transition from non-secure to secure pages, this happens. After creating a new account, then choosing "continue", it returns to the login. Any clues to why? None of this happens in IE. This is the site URL, but it is live, so dont complete any sales!(unless you want to!) www.lensrc.com/catalog Len
wizardsandwars
Looks like it's happeneing in Internet Explorer too. Seems you are losing sessions somewhere. Not to mention each page takes well over a minute to load. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help. Rclenny
I will look at the sessions settings and see if something is wrong. The delay is more likely due to something on Powwebs servers. a site on my cluster suffered a DOS attack yesterday, and I was down all day. Hope it's not happening again.
