beige
Hi, I already install the PHP configure with IIS 5 on local machine. then follow the Pre-Installation Procedure, but don't know where is the "Web Server Document Path". The instruction says: The web server document path is the directory where the web server has been configured to look for the HTML/PHP files to serve to the public. Example web server document paths are: /home/hpdl/public_html/ /srv/www/htdocs/ /usr/local/htdocs/ Do I need generate these or PHP installation should create one? Thanks ahead, Beige
Guest
The OSC install will automatically detect the path for you. If you're using a testing server, it's refering to the phisical location of the files on your machine. i.e., C:\Program Files\EasyPHP1-8\www\catalog

Guest
oh, you can put your catalog anywhere you want, even in the root of your domain: http://yourdomain.com/"oscfiles" Or you can make a directory within your domain e.g. http://yourdomain.com/catalog/"oscfiles" ethier way, when you do your installation, oscommerce will detect the path for you and configure your settings accordingly :)
