Guest
I have gone to send emails and there don't seem to be an option to send a html email. I just want to send an web page as an email or I could copy and past in the HTML. but when I do this it just sends the html as test to the receivers? Or can I export the email address for those in the newsletter and use outlook express?
Wendy James
First thing you should do is be sure you have "Use mime html" set to true in your admin configuration-email options. Second, not sure about how to set up the html code for the emails but you should keep in mind a lot of people either can't recieve html emails, or have their programs set to not show html... so you could be doing a lot of extra work for yourself. Dada1
Doesn't the fanicer invoice and packing slip have the HTML email option as part of it? If so you could try using it. Keep in mind even with the above set to true. I have come across some that are not able to send HTML emails. Rather weird but it has happened before. cube
I found that I had to mess around in the tep_email routines in the email class to get HTML email working - uncommenting something about PHP3 when I was using PHP 4. Particularly, that was to get images to work in the HTML. Quentin
