Modify text in checkout confirmation

I'm trying to locate this text to change:

"Your order will not ship until we receive payment."

 

This is showing up on the checkout confirmation (checkout_confirmation.php). How would I go about changing this text and which file? Your help is greatly appreciated. I can't believe how much traffic this site gets.. one of the most active forums I've seen.....

look in the english/checkout_confirmation.php file

all language definitions are in the english or whatever language you are using/filename

edit /includes/languages/english/checkout_success.php and add custom comments

Wendy, I tried what you suggested but it only changes what I see online. When I get the confirmation email, it still says "Your order will not ship until we receive payment."

 

How can I change that or simply remove the phrase altogether?

In the Admin Panel, under Modules/Payment...Where payment is by check/money order, that text is there. Maybe that is where you need to change it.

 

I am very new to PHP and am stumbling myself through it but thought I'd try to help. :D

Ooops just tried what I suggested and it doesn't give the option to change that text there.
