Change where "Continue Shopping" points

currently this goes to the last product selected by default. How would I change it to point to one of the categories so it goes to the category they last viewed (full list of products rather than the one they just bought)?? any ideas? Thanks in advance!

problem is all 'solutions' have drawbacks, guess I stick with the default.

You can change it to take 2 steps back instead on just one. Which usually would take you back to the last category viewed.

that's right but my customers add most of their items from the category page and taking them back 2 pages could cause some other confusion.

Then i your case, it do make sense with only one step, since that in most cases will bring them back to a category page.

 

For those who mainly have the purchases happen in the product_info page , a 2 step would in most cases be the best solution.
