Hi-

I have seen references to this problem, but never a resolution:

When trying to use Easypopulate to upload products, I get the following results:

Of course the model numbers are unique, I guess EP is truncating for display purposes, here is a sample of the data:

...

etc., etc., etc.

Also, my delimeter is set to the pipe (|) in easypopulate.php, and I get the same results when I use the tab.

I uploaded the data file to another oscommerce test site and it did OK, so I am wondering if it is an oscommerce, PHP, MYSQL, server, etc. issue.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help!

Scott

sounds like the data is not formatted properly. read thru the last 10 or so pages of the thread, I am pretty sure your answer is there.

make sure you use tab delmited, in fact you may need to change that in your easypopulate.php file, anything else doesnt work well.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem, found any answers yet?

thanks,

Wouter

It turns out that the server had PHP 5. The host migrated my site to another server that has PHP 4.3, and everything works wonderfully!

Let me know if you have any success!

The data is formatted properly, as it loads OK on another OSCommerce site. The pipe (|) works fine as the delimiter, and the easypopulate is configured properly.

Thank you for offering your suggestions, I appreciate your help!
