Track different attributes of an item

Hi

 

I already posted before about the same problem but it is still not sorted. I hope that someone will be able to help me this time.

 

I am just putting together an online store with oscommerce. In this shop there will be clothing for sale. Now lets take a T-shirt. A T-shirt comes in different sizes and different colours. I want to be able to enter e.g. that i have 3 green T-shirts in size M, 6 green T-shits in size L and 4 blue T-shirts in size XL. But I also want that this appears only as 1 item in the shop and that you can then select and choose in what colour and what size you want it.

 

It is very important that i can track also the number of t-shirts i have for each colour and size combination. No need different styles as this would be a different item in the catalog.

 

I tried Masterproducts and also QTpro but none of them worked for me. Or maybe i was just thick lol.

 

could someone please help me or at least tell me how they managed to do this??

Both the qtpro and master products works very well, you should maybe try to install them again.

 

 

If not you will have to add every singe version of a product as a separate product, or you can hire someone to install qtpro or master products for you.

They are compatible and can be used in the same shop without problem.

Does someone have a site that shows the slave products in action? I also have the T-shirt (sizes, colors) stock tracking issues AND have decorations that can be added to each shirt (slave products I assume). Currently I just have the decoration added as attributes. But this is repeated for each shirt style. I'd like a slave product that I hope would better implement this.
