vetpro Posted June 2, 2005 Share Posted June 2, 2005 We have our store set up and have had many problems. The person that set it up has "flown the coop" and I am trying to keep things rolling. How do I find out about the program and who it is licensed to? The owner of the store has no knowledge of ownership so I believe the person who set it up has all the documentation. Also, I previously asked about account problems. When a person tires to creat an account at the Country box nothing appears. When you hit the drop down box there are no countries to choose from. Guest Posted June 2, 2005 Share Posted June 2, 2005 OSCommerce is free to use forever. No agreements were made (and no warranty). Is your store "live" now? If so, you should get someone to clean it up and make it work properly immediately. The customers you'll lose every day, and those who will never return are not worth the downtime. I don't offer service for other people's sites (mine is a handful already) but I know some folks who do. Can you get into the admin panel? Look through it carefully and look at settings inside. Localization/Languages is where you can find choices. There are also Contributions (see above) for more languages. If you have more questions, there's lots of help available here.
