I uploaded my company logo to catalog/images/ and named it oscommerce.gif. I was told it would simply replace the oscommerce logo. My image did replace the oscommerce logo but its not showing up. its giving me the old square with a red X. is there something more i need to do or somewhere else i need to upload?

thankx

What size is the image you are trying to load? If its a large file it won't upload correctly

its just a little bit bigger. i have the oscommerce users manual in front of me and it gives me the exact size but then says "it seems to accept almost any size logo"

hmmm...

do you think thats the only problem?

thanks

It looks like you've uploaded everything just fine, when you say it's not showing up, do you mean it's not showing up in oscommerce, or that it's not showing up period, I went to hardwarestop.com/catalog/images/oscommerce.gif and the Complete Computer picture with the clover leaf is working fine. Oscommerce doesn't look to be running anymore on your site ... I get the register_globals error. More than likely it doesn't have anything to do with the size of the image.

its hardwarestop.NET

when i go to hardwarestop.net/catalog/images/oscommerce.gif it gives me the X square......

Images need to be uploaded in Binary mode, usually anything you can open in a text editor and edit (i.e. .html, .js, .css files etc) should be uploaded in ASCII, but images, media (.swf etc.) should be uploaded in Binary mode.
