Dada1
Why wouldn't you just want http://www.yourstite.com ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He probably has the store inside of a web site. The store probably isnt the focus. I know a lot of people who's that way and a lot of clients I set up for is that way as well. To do want your wanting to do. Just go into your file manager and rename the file oscommerce to shop. Just that easy. BTW you will need to reflect the changes in the config file as well. Guest
Yea that is the correct assumption. This is part of my website and I don't need it to have it's own URL. I went in and changed the Oscommerce to Shop and now I have all sorts of links that are looking for /oscommerce and aren't valid. It seems that I need to specify somewhere that this directory structure has changed but I'm not sure where to do it...
navyseal
you can just use an sql query to update all the links :)
Guest
Cahnge the folder name from oscommerce to shop. Then edit shop/includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php to reflect the change. Of course, your base web site will need to be updated as well. ed
Dada1
Medvid is correct, just like Ii stated in my prior post. You will need to change the config files that medvid listed to reflect the change.
