pythonicavocado Posted June 1, 2005 Posted June 1, 2005 This isn't osC specific, but rather a general USPS Web Tools question. Is there a way using the USPS Web Tools APIs to print priority mail labels with postage attached? In other words, can you print the labels such that you don't need to affix stamps or other postage to them right out of Web Tools? You can do this manually, using USPS Click n ship, but who wants to do it manually? That's the whole point of using the API, IMO. Thanks. Quote
GraphicsGuy Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 I think this contribution is about as close as it gets: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1498 USPS is pretty strict with how postage gets printed. I use endicia. There are other threads here that have described how that works. endicia also supports XML so it is possible to export from osc to endicia to generate the postage labels. I haven't done that but it is possible. Quote Rule #1: Without exception, backup your database and files before making any changes to your files or database. Rule #2: Make sure there are no exceptions to Rule #1.
