dpatrick
Hey there guys, I just installed osCommerce and have run into a bump I'm having trouble finding any information on getting around. I am looking to sell products that are roughly 32" long, and about 1-2" wide. I'm trying to find a way to deliver three different images the easiest way possible: On the product selection page (where it shows the thumbnails) from a main category it should show the products as a thumbnail of some kind (preferably just long lengthwise, and only long enough to take up most of the document's width). Then click in I'd like the image be a bit bigger... Definitely closer up, and then them be able to, from there, click and enlarge for zoom. However, right now I can't even get a BASIC image to show up without stretching all to crap! What do I do about this? Any good contributions out there? dpatrick
Something to note, is that there will be products with NORMAL proportions as well... so I can't just set the width and height for images all funky.
Dada1
You need the image proportion contribution that way you can set the width of the thumbnails you need and still keep the images proportioned without having to set the height and width of each image so they don't have that stretched look. AverageJoe
or you can set nothing for the width and height and use a contribution that allows different pictures for thumbnails and blowups. That way you can use any size thumbnail and it will display properly.

How on earth do you set the height and width for individual images? I only know how to set the height and width inside the configuration.

dpatrick
several contribssearch for small medium large images in the contributioons area <{POST_SNAPBACK}> OK thanks, Wendy. I have a lot of products that I would like to NOT be shown side-by-side (not enough room, their length is too long) at any point. Do you know of a contribution for this? Only one line of code to change and it works perfectly: http://www.oscdox.com/modules.php?op=modlo...%20Image%20Hack
