Dada1
Admin>tools>banner manger. That will insert it in the header or footer. If you want it in the body of your index page you will have to insert it manually, but it's easy.

heretoo
I use the banner manager 486x50 it went into the footer ( i would rather it in the header), I changed it to 486x60 just to see as I had read something about an error and it needed to be that way. It would not show up. I chnaged it back to 486x50 and it still will not show up. I deleted it and tried to create a new one with the default and it is still not showing up. Anyone know what is wrong. Also how do I create a banner without going through admin/tools/banner manager. Which program is best? frontpage, PHP program, etc... Also where do I put it? In the includes/ header.php
Dada1
In order to insert the banner in without the admin you would have to insert the image in manually into the script and upload your file to the images dir. You would do it through the header.php and I use dreamweaver but front page will work. Unless your Hosting server has a WYSISYG so you can edit it on the fly then you can do it that way. Most will not recommned doing that though. Unless you know what your doing I wouldn't do it that way ether. Check out the Knowledge base for more information on inserting it into the header using the admin. It is actually a easier and better way to do it rather then hard writting it unless you perfer it to be a certain size.
