I have gone through the steps and replaced some of the gifs with transparencies. However, I receive parse errors when I make the changes. I am editing the stylesheet in textpad. Use Crimson Editor, it will allow you to see if you are making a mistake by the colors that it uses. If you miss a comma the entire line turns red. I think that this will help you a lot.
